Rebuild the British India

That was Gandhi's vision.
Gandhi was against the idea of partition. Winston Churchill would not have done that way. First of all, Churchill would not have given the independence. The British Raj would have continued till now. If Churchill had to give the independence, certainly he would not have partitioned the country.
Gandhi didn't celebrate the independence. In fact Gandhi was at Noakhali district (earlier Pakistan and now Bangladesh) when Nehru was swearing-in as the First Prime Minister of India.
Gandhi wanted to have the freedom in United India. But the British Prime Minister Clement Attlee denied victory to Gandhi. Clement Attlee had no idea about the power, potential, issues and challenges of the British India.
Just like our politicians give promises such as free TV, free rice, free idly;
the British politician's election promise was Free India.
Clement Attlee won the 1945 election only with that promise, Free India.
1945 election, no one expected Winston Churchill's defeat.
It was unbelievable. He had just finished the Hitler. Churchill was so confident that he would win the 1945 election.
Don't forget the fact, Churchill won the 1950 election.
Between 1945 and 1950, by that time, heavy damage had already been done by Clement Attlee. Clement Attlee brought down the Great Britain to an Ordinary Britan.
More than Gandhi, we all, people of India, Pakistan, Burma and Ceylon have to thank Clement Attlee for giving us the freedom.
Clement Attlee had no special love for Indians. As an ordinary politicians he gave away the free stuff; Free India.
Freedom was totally unexpected. That is why we still treat the Freedom as the Free TV that we got from our politicians.
So, Gandhi's vision was United States of India.
Its time to rebuild the United States of India.
In fact, the United States of America began with just 13 states; now it has 50 states.
Similarly, the United States of India shall begin with 28 states and later shall include 8 states from Pakistan, 6 states from Bangladesh, 7 states from Burma and 9 states from Ceylon.
One currency; No visa; Free Movement of the People.
Integration is the solution for all the divisive problems.
If you look at the problems around that regions, United States of India is the right solution.
United Nations and America and all other developed nations will support this initiative, if India takes the leadership position with greater responsibilities.
