  • United States of India It is quite obvious that both Congress & BJP national parties have only 25% strength and all the regional leaders put together have 50% strength.

    Congress has 145 seats. When you do further analysis, you will realize the fact that, Congress didn't get these many seats on its own strength.

    Congress got those seats by forming alliance with rival regional parties. For instance, in Tamilnadu, the DMK and AIADMK are rival parties. Congress joined with DMK and won those seats.

    Without the support of regional leaders, both national parties, Congress and BJP could not have got this many seats. So the regional leaders have the true strength. The parties which are weak in all states are the national parties.

    The regional leaders are strong leaders. They effectively manage their parties. Most of them have effectively managed their state governments. In spite of having greater strength, leadership qualities and experience in running the state government - they can not become the Prime Minister of India.

    The regional leaders have been trying short-cuts by forming 3rd front alliance by joining hands with leaders from different regions. But that didn't help. In Congress and BJP alliance, they have the leadership responsibilities. But in the 3rd front, everyone is a strong leader in their region. So there will be a lot of clash between those strong leaders. The 3rd front alliance is practically not possible. First of all, 3rd front alliance can not win the confidence of the people. Even if they win, there will be lot of leg pulling after the election. It will lead to more chaos and confusion.

    Its time, the regional leaders need to look for the best and long term solution, good for the nation and for the people. They can not continue to support these weak national parties for the National Government. And the 3rd front alliance is not going to work. So the long term solution is to fix the constitution now and let the people of India directly elect their President.

    All the regional leaders will support the idea of United States of India. All the regional leaders, Mayawathi, Lullu, Mulayam, Pawar, Chandrababu and Jayalalitha are potential candidate for the next President of United States of India. Definitely, all these leaders will support the concept of United States of India.

    The collective strength of all the regional leaders is more than 50%. Usually the regional leaders like Mayawathi and Mulayam are against each other on many issues. But for this new concept, United States of India, both Mayawathi and Mulayam will join hands and support it. The same logic will apply for all other states too.

    Congress, BJP and Communists will not support this new concept, United States of India. All others will support it.

    This is the right time to pass the resolution to make amendments in the constitution. All the Members of Parliament are currently enjoying their freedom from their high command. So, keeping in mind, the best for the nation and for the people, most of the Members of Parliament will support the new concept and help you to pass the resolution for United States of India.

    Let the People of India watch the Presidential Debates between our candidates Mayawathi, Pawar, Mulayam, Lullu, Jayalalitha and Chandrababu.

    Let the People of India directly elect the first President of United States of India in 2009.
