Formula Continues
Blame it on Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi.
With the effective leadership of George Washington, the states were united in America.
With the Ineffective leadership of Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, the united India was divided into India, Pakistan and Bangladesh.
The Formula has started way back in 1946. The Formula for dividing the country was agreed between Jinnah and Nehru.
Today, in 2009, the formula continues.
The formula is all about sharing power. How much power do you want to have; it all depends on how many Members of Parliament.
For today's market, the price for a cabinet post is - nine Members of Parliament.
And the price for winning a parliament seat depends on the state you live. On an average, a few crores rupees need to be invested to win a MP seat.
And the ROI, Return on Investment depends on the ministry you get. If you get External affairs ministry, not much income; in fact more headaches such as Sri Lanka, Pakistan.
So you need to carefully choose the cabinet post.
The success of getting the good one, depends on your negotiating skill.
All these formula was not told before election. Had it been told, the alliance partners would not have given so many seats to Congress.
So, in future, this formula will not work.
