  • Sri Lankaஒரு மனிதனின் பிறந்த வருடம் முக்கியமல்ல; அவனின் இறந்த வருடமும் முக்கியமல்ல; எத்தனை ஆண்டுகள் பூமியில் இருந்தான் என்பதும் முக்கியமல்ல;

    ஆனால், உண்மையென்னவென்றால், கண்ணதாசன் எல்லோரது மனதிலும், நெறைஞ்ச இடம்பிடித்து, காலம்காலமாக வாழ்ந்து கொண்டு இருக்கிறார். கண்ணதாசனுக்கு மரணம் இல்லை. கண்ணதாசன் காலத்தை வென்றவன். இன்றும் வாழ்கிறான்; என்றும் வாழ்வான்; தமிழ் இருக்கும்வரை கண்ணதாசன் வாழ்வு தொடரும்; மனிதசமுதாயம் இந்த பூவுலகில் வாழும்வரை, கண்ணதாசன் வாழ்கிறான்.

    People are equal in Iraq, in Afganistan, in Pakistan, in India, even in Burma (though all citizens are slaves; but they are equal).

    In this 21st century, even animals are getting better treatments. But human beings are not in Sri Lanka.

    All human beings are equal. That should be the change, that should happen in the mind and heart of Mahinda Rajapakse.

    Earlier they turned more youths into killing machines. Now the government has turned more youths into killing machines.

    So, is the situation improved in Sri Lanka?

    No good roads; No good public health; No good public transportation; No good schools.

    The only potential for any economic growth for Sri Lanka is Tourism. The nature and the beaches are still not affected by Global Warming. People all around the world would like to visit Sri Lanka. The global community visit will take the Sri Lanka's economy to a greater heights. Visitors will bring dollars into Sri Lanka.

    But the problem is - no one would like to visit a Military state. No visitors would like to see guns all around the places. So, for another ten years, no one would like to visit Sri Lanka.

    Sri Lanka will continue to be a poor state for another ten years.
