On the floor of Parliament, only one Member, not very popular, she started her speech. It was her turn to talk on the Lokpal bill.

It doesn't matter whether I am in favor of this Lokpal or still stronger Lokpal. It doesn't matter whether we, the Legislative branch of Indian Constitution pass this Lokpal bill or reject it. I feel very ashamed of the current state of our nation.

Certainly, we cannot proudly say that, this Lokpal will add beauty to Mother India. It's not going to be the jewel in the crown. Mother India has to keep her head down in shame.

With our irresponsible action or inaction, we have been brining down the glory of Mother India. Day by day, we are earning bad reputation for Mother India. Lokpal is not an achievement of the great nation. Lokpal is not the reflection of good character, honesty, integrity and moral value of people of India. With heavy heart, with full shame, I rise to talk about Lokpal on the floor of Parliament.

In the current period, corruption may be a serious political issue. But there has been several social issues. One such major issue is Marriage. Today, several of you have already talked about this Lokpal and other Lokpal. So, I am not going to talk about Lokpal; talking about Lokpal will be boring and I will not add any value to the discussion. As an innovation, I am going to talk about Marriage Pal.

Everyone will agree with me. Marriage is a very serious social issue in India today. To protect Marriage, we need a very strong Marriage Pal. Under Marriage Pal, we need to bring in all parties involved. The bride, groom and both families need to be under watchdog of Marriage Pal. We need to define strongest punishment to all in-laws.

Along with Marriage Pal, let me introduce Whistle blowers bill too. Many marriages have ended up as Mouna Ragam. To the external world, they pretend as happy couple. But they may not lead a happy married life. So we need Whistle blowers. You may wonder, who are these whistle blowers and what do they do. Whistle blowers hide in the darkness and constantly monitor the couples. They blow the whistle, when the couple violate the Marriage system.

For effective Marriage, we need to register all events of the bride and groom since their birth. How do they behave in school; how do they behave in college; how do they behave in work place. For this purpose, let me introduce School Pal.

In School Pal, we will discuss about the rules and punishment system. The old bamboo sticks in school is no longer effective. As new, innovative crimes are committed in school by children, we need to make effective punishment system; so that nobody escape from punishment and will have the fear about punishment and will start behave good.

Look at the current state of Mother India. We don't discuss about how to build characters in children; we don't discuss about the subject and teaching methods; we don't discuss about physical education to build strong body; we don't discuss about laboratories and tools for children.

Our topic of discussion is all about rules, laws, punishment and worst punishment. We come to the conclusion that, all our children and people of India are corrupt. We have reached the dead end. We lost all hope for building any good character in people of India. Before it is getting worse, somehow we need to stop. So, Lokpal, Marriage Pal, School Pal and Family Pal - we need all Pals and more Pals.

People of India deserve only punishment. Punishment only can reform human beings. Punishment only can make India move forward. So the entire nation is working day and night on designing modern punishment techniques, both in Loksaba and Rajyasaba.

Sony Akio Morita said: The serious crisis in America is - no human values. Human beings are not trustworthy. Human beings are dishonest; they always lie; always cheat. So, entire society and nation is built on, don't trust anybody. That fundamental problem creates more distress, pain, hardships and suffering. This no-trust leads to creating more innovative laws; then law schools; then more attorneys; criminals; modern jails; modern punishments.

The entire judicial system is a huge burden on the society and on the economy. Judicial branch, right from civil court lawyers to Supreme court judges - do not create wealth. They take away time, energy and life of human society. Judicial branch is the invention of the western culture.

Magna Carta was the result of ineffective king; Robin Hood was fighting against that king. Magna Carta created the separate Judicial branch; took away the power from King.

In Silapathikaram, King Pandya made a mistake in judgment; Kannghi went to Pandya court, proved her husband Kovalan innocence and ask for judgment. King Pandya realized his mistake and punished himself. There are so many instances, where Kings in ancient India gave the best judgment. In our culture, we didn't build separate Judicial branch.

Our culture is based on high human values. We trust other human beings. Our relationship is built on mutual trust. Our parents and grand parents marriage were not registered. A few decades ago, we didn't have these many law colleges; we didn't have these many lawyers. Today, our youth are specializing in Family Laws. Young lawyers are becoming famous in handling many divorce. More than marriage priest, we now have more lawyers practicing Marriage counseling and all civil issues.

So, the need of the hour is not demand for strong laws and worst punishment. We need leaders with character and integrity. We need to build character in our people. When money is lost, nothing is lost; when health is lost, something is lost; when character is lost, everything is lost. Truth, honesty, character all are lost for cunning, and for paper money.

We don't need more laws and law schools. We need Science, Engineering, Medical and Arts. Only these creative and innovative discipline create wealth. It's time, each one of us, take some time-off. Sit and relax. Look at your self; do some self looking; not self analysis; we have been doing lot of analysis. Analysis leads to paralysis. Just look at you; yourself. Do you need Lokpal for yourself. If you don't need, then no one else need any Pals.

So, we don't deserve strong Lokpal; we don't need weak Lokpal. All we need is, truth, honest, character and all good qualities of human beings and high value of life.
