Election is one of the best practices in democracy system.
Election indicates the healthy state of our democracy.
Election gives power, responsibility & freedom to the people.
In India, people do not have the power to elect their president.
As per the constitution, people's representatives have
the power & responsibility to elect the President of India.
But, now, even the elected representatives, the MPs & MLAs,
do not have the power to elect the President of India.
A few politicians take away all the power.
That is not a healthy democracy.
Even the framers of the constitution would not have expected
the current way of choosing the President of India.
So, election is a good thing for our democracy.
Election takes the power away from those few politicians
and gives back to the People's Representatives.
That means, freedom to all the MLAs & MPs.
Freedom brings Responsibility to the People's Representatives.
When they are responsible, they make the right decision
for the development of the people and the nation.
So, let us give back the rights to elect the President of India
to the People's Representatives, the MLAs & MPs.
So, the election is the right way to elect the President of India.
