Terrorism is the Global Challenge.
Security is the Government's job.
Protecting People from Terrorists attack is the Primary job of the Government.
No one else can do this job; only Governments can do it.
Only George Bush can protect United States of America.
Only Manmohan Singh can protect India.
Microsoft can not protect United States of America.
Tata, Birla or Reliance can not protect India.
Government can not achieve Economic growth.
Those corporate sectors can make the Economy grow.
Government should focus on its primary job.
Government should not spend its time & energy in,
running Grocery (Ration) Shop.
giving away free stuff like TV, Rice etc.
Government's Primary Job is:
Security.
Infrastructure.
Environment Protection.
Wipe out Private Terrorist Army.
Today, the terrorists attacked India.
This is the failure of the Government of India.
Is Manmohan Singh responsible for this failure?
Is Manmohan Singh accountable for this failure?
No. We can NOT have Manmohan Singh responsible or accountable.
Because, Manmohan Singh is not empowered.
Manmohan Singh had wrong priorities.
Manmohan Singh's first priority was to satisfy his
political friends' wishes and execute their orders.
Instead of protecting the Country, Manmohan Singh was busy in settling
the Neyveli Lignite Corporation disinvestment issue.
Instead of protecting the Country, Manmohan Singh was busy in settling
All India Institute of Medical Sciences issue.
Instead of protecting the Country, Manmohan Singh was busy in settling
the Reservations in IIT, IIM, etc.
Thank God, they do not demand reservations in Indian Cricket Team.
They do not demand George Bush for Reservations for Indians in United States.
Life would be much easy, if Government focus on its commitment and responsibility.
This is total Mismanagement.
Who suffered?
The People of India.
All we need is a Leader. People's Leader.
The Nation needs a Leader, a Cheif Executive for the Nation.
Just like a Captain in a Ship.
Just like a Captain in a Cricket Team.
Just like a CEO of a professionally managed organization.
Let People directly elect the Chief Executive.
Let us fix his/her term for Four Years.
Let us fix - the Chief Executive can only have two terms.
Let us empower the Chief Executive with the Responsibility to lead the Nation.
Let us empower the Chief Executive to recruit his/her own team of Cabinet Secretaries.
Coming to the issue of Balancing Power.
One Power has to be balanced with another Power.
That is what our ancestors did many thousand years ago.
Our ancestors designed the system based on Responsibilities.
Brahma - Creator - Responsible for the Creativity.
Vishnu - Protector - Responsible for the Protection.
Siva - Destroyer - Responsible for the Destruction.
One Power is balanced by another Power.
Siva is balanced by Brahma & Vishnu.
Vishnu is balanced by Siva & Brahma.
Brahma is balanced by Siva & Vishnu.
Likewise, the Chief Executive's power shall be balanced by Legislative Power.
Both Executive & Legislative Powers shall be balanced by Judicial Power.
For a second, let us imagine to have the Constituion of India reformed.
People directly elect Manmohan Singh as the Chief Executive of the Nation.
Manmohan Singh is the President of India for four years.
Manmohan Singh is free to form his Cabinet.
Manmohan Singh will have Mantek Singh Alluwallia as his Secretary of Finance.
Manmohan Singh will have Venu Gopal as his Secretary of Health.
Manmohan Singh will have some IT professioanl,
who can implement the e-governance as his Secretary of Information Technology.
Manmohan Singh already experimented this solution as Saran as his Secretary of State.
Manmohan Singh do not have a politician as his External affairs minister.
Manmohan Singh need not have to spend his quality time & energy in issues like,
Reservation in IIT, IIM and so on.
Price rise issues,
Petrol price rise,
Neyveli Lignite Corporation,
Dancing to the tune of his Political Friends.
At the same time, Manmohan Singh should not become a dictator.
Manmohan Singh's power need to be balanced by the Legislative Power.
Just like George Bush, Manmohan Singh need to send
his proposal to the Parliament for approval.
Parliament, the people's representatives will discuss
the Manmohan Singh's proposal and approve it or reject it.
It is funny. Right now, the Legislative Branch sends
the proposal for approval to the President or the Governor.
The People of India do not need an alternative to Congress.
The People of India do not need an alternative to BJP.
The People of India do not need an alternative to Communists.
The People of India do not need another Party.
The People of India do not need another Alliance.
The People of India do need a Leader.
The Nation needs a Captain.
The Nation needs a Chief Executive.
When you have a smooth flight or ship journey,
you don't realise the need for a Captain.
When our batsmen scored high and bowlers bowled well,
we don't realise the value of the Captain.
When our company stocks going high,
we don't realise the value of our CEO.
But...
We watch carefully about the Captain's negotiation in a hijack situation.
We listen and obey the Captain's order, when our ship hit a rock and sinking.
We watch carefully about the Captain's decision,
when we have to score ten runs in six ball.
So, we do need a Leader.
Leadership can not be replaced with alliance of political parties.
Fortunately or unfortunately, the one predictable thing
in any organization is the CRISIS.
CRISIS always comes.
That is when you DO DEPEND on the LEADER.
The most successful leader of the twentieth century was Winston Churchill.
When the catastrophe came, thank goodness Churchill was available.
Today in India, the crisis is - Lack of Leadership.
We had tried out everything.
Congress as single party ruled many years.
Then, as an alternative to single party Congress, we tried many different alliances.
Now we have Manmohan Singh as the Chief Executive.
Manmohan Singh is a Leader with great INTEGRITY and COMMITMENT.
But Manmohan Singh can not function; not empowered.
Manmohan Singh have to mismanage the country.
Manmohan Singh has to constantly dance to the tune of others.
Definately, something is completely wrong in our Political System.
Many have realised the defects; but not speak about it.
A few have realised the defects; but not sure of the alternatives.
Others, mainly the current political parties, have realised the defects.
They also realised the facts that their era is coming to an end.
So, let us not waste our time and energy to fix symptoms.
We need a Leader to reform the Constitution of India.
Who can do it?
Jayalalitha.
Jayalalitha is emerging as a matured, responsible Leader
Jayalalitha learnt a lot from her mistakes.
In her second innings, Jayalalitha scored sixers and boundaries.
Jayalalitha ended the Veerappan threat.
Jayalalitha took many bold decisions as the Chief Minister.
Jayalalitha gained experiences by handling natural calamities like Tsunami.
Jayalalitha is emerging as a Role Model for the Future India.
Following Jayalalitha's steps, the future leaders will gain experience
in running the State Governments. Later they move to the Central Government.
In that way, the State Leaders will think Nationally and act Locally.
A Leader from Karnataka or Tamilnadu, will approach the Kaveri issue
with a National perspective.
That is the best way of Integration.
Jayalalitha's vision of becoming Mother of Modern India is coming true.
