When he refers to the Ancient Hindu society,
Peter Drucker did not refer it as, Caste System.
Peter Drucker said, "It was a Fixed Economic Model based Society".
Peter Drucker also said that, any system, needs to be reviewed,
after every 30 years.
No system stay valid for ever.
Any good systems, tend to go bad, as time passes by.
Our caste system was created with good intention at that period.
After many centuries, it turned ugly.
Ancient Indian caste system was based on the Strength of the individuals.
People who are good at learning, formed one section.
People who are good at adventure & fighting, formed the next section.
People who are good at commerce, formed the other section.
People who are good at hard work, formed the last section.
When they created the section, they didn't say that
this section was superior than the other.
But over a period of time, it went ugly.
In that caste system, people know their duty and continue to do that duty.
Father had the responsibility to train his sons.
Since those days, there were no engineering colleges, Father had to train.
In that system, people did not go to the government (King) and ask for job.
Everyone were self employed. Sons follow father's work.
So, no unemployment.
The major drawback of that system was, the economic model was fixed.
That is, the rich stay rich and the poor stay poor.
Fathers income was Rs 100 out of his business.
Sons income remained almost same.
The current economic model is DYNAMIC.
The farmer's son become a Software Developer.
The family economy completely get changed.
All systems need to be reviewed quite often.
Changes & Reforms are inevitable.
Indian Constitution was good fifty years ago. But not any more.
We spent crores of rupees on Election. Now look at Bihar.
We are not sure, we will find a CM, even after next election.
Indian Constitution needs to be reformed.
Let people elect DIRECTLY the CM or PM or Mayor.
All big parties won't be willing to reform the Constitution.
Only a Strong Leader can reform the Indian Constitution.
That emerging strong leader is Jayalalitha.
