The driver said:
That was your Right of Way.
You had the priority.
While you are crossing, I should stop and let you go.
I can not take your right of way.
I will get negative points on my driving records.

In developed nation, the drivers know their Right of Way.
The pedestrians also know their Right of Way.

In the developed nations:

The pedestrians have the Right of Way only at the Zebra crossing.
If they cross any other place, they will be fined for Jay Walking.

When you take your car out from home, you have to be careful.
The cars on the road have the right of way.

When you try to enter a highway, those cars in the highway
have the right of way. So you need to let them go.
when it is safe, you have to drive and merge with the other traffic.

On the bi-cycle lane, the cyclists have the right of way.

We need to clearly define the RIGHT of WAY.
